Who We Are

Ray-Carroll Reflects the Cooperative Difference

Farmers are experts in making things grow. As a full-service cooperative, Ray-Carroll County Grain Growers provides the services and technical expertise to help our local producers thrive. We’ve been proud to serve our member-owners since 1931.

Customers count on us for grain, agronomy, precision ag, insurance, energy, and feed solutions. While we’re based in Richmond, we also have locations in Brunswick, Carrollton, Corder, Hardin, Mayview, Norborne, Slater, Sumner, and Wakenda, as well as a grain terminal in St. Louis.

We’re proud to be involved in our communities, from supporting local organizations to funding college scholarships for children of Ray-Carroll members who wish to further their education at a Missouri college or university.

There’s a reason why Ray-Carroll has continued to grow since local farmers formed the cooperative more than 80 years ago. In fact, there are hundreds reasons: our members. Guided by an 11-member board of directors, Ray-Carroll is focused on providing members and customers with high-quality products and services as we move forward together.

It pays to do business with Ray-Carroll

Patronage is one of the many benefits of being a member of Ray-Carroll County Grain Growers. Our members can receive part of Ray-Carroll’s profit, subject to the company’s profit-loss and the board’s direction of profits.

We have data on patronage dividends for previous years in major categories of grain, drying and storage, and merchandise. For more information on Ray-Carroll’s patronage rates contact our grain desk at 816-776-2291 or 800-722-4407.
