Feed Mills

Trillium Farms proudly owns and operates two feed mills in Croton and Larue, Ohio. The feed mill at Croton recently underwent massive reconstruction, and now has the capacity to store nearly 5 million bushels of corn and contains three receiving pits and two truck scales. In addition, a new scale office was added that houses the grain originator on-site.

The feed mill at Larue is also capable of storing nearly 5 million bushels of corn and has three receiving pits and two truck scales. The Larue mill also has two roller mills and a 10,000 bushel per hour dryer. Each feed mill can receive about 200 semitrucks of corn per day. In 2019, 12 million bushels of corn are estimated to be processed between the Croton and Larue feed mills.

Since 2015, Trillium has locally sourced the corn used to feed our flocks, which allows our farm to support farmers in our community. Each year, Trillium contracts more than 9 million bushels of corn.
